During the course of my life, I attended 7 different elementary schools and 2 high schools throughout the United States and Cuba. Both of my parents served in the Navy, which meant we moved a lot. After I graduated high school, I attended The Baptist College of Florida where I majored in Elementary Education. My very first classroom was in Chipley, Florida where I taught Kindergarten for 3 years. At the beginning of my 4th year in Florida, god called our family to move to Wyoming for my husband to serve as the Pastor of United Baptist Church. We have been in Wyoming for almost 7 years. In that time, I became a mother to a set of boy /girl twins, Alanna and Declan, who are 6 years old, and a two-year-old girl, Eisley. I have worked at Arapahoe elementary school for the past 4 years as a Kindergarten teacher. This year the doors have opened for me to work in this wonderful school as your 3rd grade teacher.

Kira graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a degree in English Literature and a focus in Secondary Education. She taught in the Denver area for several years before marrying her husband, Brendan. Teaching 4th/5th grades at St. Margaret's is a sincere privilege, as one of Kira's primary passions is Catholic education. Kira also enjoys music, gardening, and cooking for her husband!
